To celebrate Lanvin day on the first day of Matches’ Tailoring Week, we caught up with Lanvin Menswear Designer, Lucas Ossendrijver, to talk tailoring, style heros and Star Wars.

What is your first memory of tailoring?  My first memorable moment was in college when I did a project where I took a suit jacket, turned it inside out and tore it apart. I found it so intriguing with all of the construction, from horsehair to panels and the process of what goes into the production of a suit. This made me fall in love with men’s tailoring and want to take it futher as a career.

Introducing our first Store Style Men’s Edition! Bruno Molena, of Matches Marylebone, epitomises enviable between-the-seasons style in his Lanvin jacket, Burberry Brit trousers and Lanvin trainers (which we now want quite badly).
